This is an giant slingshot made from three recycled materials...

A Pie Tin, An Old Milk Gallon Container, And An Old Egg Carton.

Step 1: Step 1: Materials

For this instructable you will need 7 items...

1. Egg Carton

2. Gallon Milk Container

3. Pie Tin

4. Bungee Cord

5. Swing

6. Duct Tape

7. Wiffle Ball

Step 2: Step 2: Bungee!

First you need to put the bungee cord through the milk container handle.

Then hook the bungee cord on the swing on both sides.

Step 3: Step 3: Pie Tin

Now you need to get a piece of duct tape and roll it into a cylinder.

Make two of these and stick them on the bottom of the milk container.

Now stick the pie tin on the bottom and use more tape to support it.

Step 4: Step 4: Egg Carton

Now you need to cut up the carton.

Then duct tape them on in a diamond shape to fit your ammo.

Step 5: Step 5: Fire!

Now your giant slingshot is ready to fire!

So you hold the jug upside down, pie-plate up to pullback and launch? I'm not always able to make the leaps others find so obvious, but this looks like fun for my cubscouts...

Just grab the handle and pull backwards. And if you are doing this with cubscouts then do not be disapointed if it does not work the first time. It takes a lot of adjusting.

You need to get someone to photograph this in the pulled-back position, without that this doesn't look like something that works. Can you do that and update? L

I made this a while ago so I took it down... But it does work! I shot the wiffle ball over my house...
