Recycled monster is made out of salvaged material, mostly things I find around kids.
Monster and his friend, Robot man help me open up discutions with kiddo's about reducing & recycling, and thinking about art materials in different ways.They hang out on my backpack, and kids like to play with them. I often challenge the kiddos to figure out what they're made of. They are surprisingly durable, and handle water well.

For some reason my comments, on the photo(#11) where the front & back go together, are not showing up (at least on my computer)... and I feel like it's pretty critical to point out, that when you sew the front & back together, sandwich the arms, the back horn, and a ribbon, between the the two halves. Also don't sew all the way around leave an opening for stuffing. The ribbon is for easy backpack transport.
