For the 4th of July this year I was going to a friends house and wanted to bring something so I decided to make jello shots to celebrate the holiday!  This was a bit of an experiment and while the shots could have held together better, they did taste pretty good!

Step 1: Ingredients

For these jello shots, I used the following
-1 box of berry blue jello
-1 box of raspberry jello (you could use another flavor of red jello)
-2 packets of knox gelatine
-1 can of condensed milk
-red berry flavored vodka
-whipped cream flavored vodka (not pictured)

These can be made with regular vodka, but I found that using a flavored vodka improves the taste dramatically.
Tips for unmolding them and getting your layers to stick together: Spray Pam inside the mold and wipe out to leave a bit of a coating; doesn't affect taste (you could also use regular vegetable oil). Don't let your layers set too long in between... just wait long enough till you can touch them without getting jello on your finger (first layer takes about 5-10 mins). This will help the layers bond with each other. I have those same star molds and the oil trick worked beautifully! Good Luck! :-)
Looks delicious!!!!! :-)
