Got tired of my pants getting dirty from my chain, so I made my own leg straps.

I bought a yard of reflective fabric from a fabric store for 4 dollars, velcro from Walmart, and a sewing machine from a dumpster a few years ago. (sewing machine is optional)

You'll need scissors too

I got grease all over may pants from biking so invented the Leg Shield which is a ankle to calf leg strap. It allows me to commute to work in any pants I want and keeps me a little warmer. I think it is far superior to the existing bike leg straps or clips because once I put it on there is no chance of getting chain grease on my pants or getting the pants stuck in the gears.
