My sister and I have done Relay for life in the past 2 years and have had the themes of 'A little birdie told me the cure for cancer is coming soon' and "rooting for a cure". In conjunction, we made birds and pigs for fundraising.Both are made from yarn, plastic eyes, cotton fiberfill, and the pigs have button noses that we sewed on with yarn. We also had a little fun with the pigs and added wings (see picture). Both years we were able to sell out and raise over $1000.
