Introduction: Remote Control Tissue Box

About: I'm a teenager who likes computers and baking and pretty much everything else. I also like to force my family to help me with Instructables

Have you ever needed tissues but been too sick to go get them? I know I have. Which is why I have made a moving tissue box! Now your tissues can roll across the floor to you! As an added bonus, you can also prank people by leaving your moving tissue box somewhere, then unexpectedly moving it away!

Step 1: Materials

You will need:

  • A remote control car. (Almost any size will do, you just have to modify the box to fit around it. Really big trucks may have the wheels sticking out, making your box's ability to move more obvious.)
  • A tissue paper box. (I highly recommend the regular size, but you may be able to get away with a smaller one if your car is small enough.)
  • Scissors.
  • Tape (optional)

Step 2: Preparing the Box

Take out the tissues, then cut out the bottom of the box. Set aside about a third of the tissues.

Step 3: Adding the Car

Slip the car inside of the box. For extra stability, I recommend taping part of the car to the box so it doesn't fall out. The location of the car inside the box really depends on what your car is like.

Step 4: Add Your Tissue and Roll!

Now that you have got the car in there, add the tissues you set aside earlier and now you are ready to use the moving tissue box! If you want, you can leave it looking like a normal tissue box, or decorate it! Here are some ideas:

  • Give it a name! Mine was called "The Kleenex Mobile"
  • Add sparkles!
  • Hide something besides tissues inside. (Like chocolate!)

Hav fun using your moving tissue box!

I SO had to click on this and see this amazing Instructable! Great job!

This would be fun for someone who has a really bad cold. I know that cute and fun are always appreciated when some is sick in my family.

If I can get my son to build me one, we can entertain grandma at the rehab center. It is either that or we have to get a dog to take with us.

This is awesome! This could actually work for any kind of delivery system like drinks as well.

Oh, good idea! It would be great if it was hooked up to a drink machine or something and you could refill using it too!
