lol..that was a really nice question and I hope RazorG is never gonna answer.

Any way the DIY is good. One thing to note while wiping with cloth on the CD is that you should wipe radially instead of circularly.

IF THE DISK HAS WAY TOO MANY SCRATES IT WONT WORK BUT IF THE DISK STOP EVERY NOW AND THEN THIS IS THE THING FOR YOU

This generally doesn't work on polycarbonate (CD's and glasses lenses), it DOES however work on glass optics from what I've heard, anybody else?

this doesnt work. ive tried this in the past and it does jack shit. i suggest heating the cd over an open flame hen boiling it for 5 minutes. it works: http://www.instructables.com/id/S6WMC5TF9053ZB0/
