Repair broken XBox live headphones

This instructable will help you salvage your headphones that snap
above the earpiece where the plastic is thin.

Step 1: This is the spot where the headset broke

Here is your headset where the plastic has broken just above the earpiece where the plastic is thinnest

hey thanks so much man, i got a free broken pair from a used video game store as well as a huge pile of dead consoles and this was a realy easy fix, i was trying to figure out what to do with it

I just tied mine to my head with a tie lol now the volume box thing is smashed its missing the foam from the mic and its gotthe mic attached with blue tac and celotape lol

wow... I can't believe I never thought of that...  I've been using my pair with Duct Tape around it for a couple months.  So uncomfortable...  never stays in the position you need it.  Thanks so much for pointing out what should have been obvious lol.
