Repair threads with a home made tap
A tap is a tool for either making threads in a hole, or repairing threads. Use a triangular file to cut the grooves in any sized bolt. When repairing threads with this tool, use light oil, and remove the metal shavings. The bolt can later be used to reassemble the machine.
