Jeez, how I hate videos that start automatically when the page loads. Makes it hell if you surf like I do, with opening multiple tabs in the background in Firefox...then you have to hunt for the one that has the vid running. Annoying.

Thanks, yeah. I appreciate it. I opened several of your tutorials in tabs in Firefox, and they all opened the vids at once. It was a bit hectic there for a moment. Nice tutorials, by the way. I learned a lot.

Also a good idea to shift into your largest chainring. The difference between puncture wounds and a scrape with your chain.

Hey Bicycle Tutor, This is another very clear and very informative video - nice work! I'm sure that you already have a long list of subjects that you would like to cover, but if I could throw in my own laundry list of topics that I'd love to see better covered online... How to repack bearings in a bottom bracket, pedal, and or wheel hub How to adjust the cones on a wheel How to chop and flip road handlebars to make bullhorn bars How to clean an old kinked chain How to fix a flat How to re-true a wheel How to remove a crankset How to install brake and shifter lines How to adjust cantilever brakes How change seat post height - I know this one is simple, but so many people ride with their seats too high or too low. When to replace your tires What parts on the bike need grease? These are just a few topics that came to mind. The most important one probably being How to fix a flat tire. Sheldon Brown is obviously a huge resource for bikers on the web, and also the Park Tools website, but aside from those two, bike knowledge sources tend to taper off pretty quickly. So, on that note - keep up the good work - you're laying the informational groundwork that will ultimately help many many people!

Both of these are awesome! Re-truing and re-dishing my wheels is still the one thing that I go to the LBS for. I'm going build myself a wheel truing stand from and old bike fork that I have lying around and then go for it next week just because of your great video! Thanks, and as always, keep up the good work.

Go for it! (I seem to have developed a certain crazy hunger for bicycle Instructables)

I always use never seize for lubricating the threads. I also shy away from those bicycle tool wrenches unless I am doing wheel cones. They hurt like hell on the hands when removing stubborn pedals! I am glad you do not use lithium grease. Most mechanics don't realize that it dries and forms a paste like glue when it reacts with alloys.

This is great!! Although my problem is that my pedal stripped out of the arm, is there an easy way to fix that?
