Step 1: Prepare the mechanisms

to avoide cutting yourself when you place the blades on your amr it would be good to use a bench grinder or a metal file and grind down all points on the drawer slide. This way you don't cut yourself and its comfortable for you to move around with ease. Make sure you wear eye protection as well

How do you retract or submit the blades? I haven't actually made them yet but would like to

yes they are very cool but they are not actually hellboy accurate his were not hidden blades they were like police clubs with sword blades attached insted of the club. but still a very cool design want to make a set for my costume next year.

Thank you but these are for when he is in his SS uniform in the begining of the movie I have not made a tutorial on the 2nd style of blades he uses later on in the movie.

If anything, THEY all ripped off the movie "Taxi Driver". In the movie, Travis Bickle used the same drawer device to throw a gun in his hand from up his sleeve.

Thanks for your Instructable. Does the hat hint at you using this for a Cosplay event?

PS., *cost

I recreated the taxi driver effect, that actually locks in place. This instructable lacks.

Not from what I see in the instructable it is just a drawer slide, it's not even cut down, to fit well on the arm..
GHOST66 (author) says: Oct 16, 2010. 5:57 AM
It worked perfectly on my arm for MetroCon.
