What a great idea, and with built in handles! But do you have any suggestions regarding the bottom seam? I'm worried about a single straight seam tearing and things falling out. Would it be better to overlap the bottom and make two seams (one on each side where the material overlaps)?

yeah you could always do the double seam, it is just a matter of getting it to folder over right. That is a good point and idea.
