Another carved ribbon goose eggshell. Made with a highspeed microdrill.
I heard once that if you bake the shell first it helps harden i so there is less chance of cracking while carving. I have not been able to find this information online anywhere. I think it was in an old TV show that had a guy doing intricate works on goose eggs.
A few days ago my friend told me about baking eggshells to make them harder. Now I have information from You. I will have to try...
Also this is beautiful. Can you make it using vinegar and wax or similar?
Thanks! Probably I coud make it using wax, but IHO the eggshell should be natural, rough and, of course, white :)
