A modern twist on a classic Indian dessert recipe. Phirni, also known as Rice Pudding, is made of ground rice, and is flavored here with Rose essence. To turn it into an elegant dessert, I layered it with home-made Mixed berry sauce using all red-colored berries, topped it with my pudding, then added some whipped cream, pistachios and raspberries. A beautiful dessert perfect for Holidays, including New Year's eve!

No matter where you reside, there are some foods that everyone will love, and this is one such recipe. I made it for Diwali, as well as Christmas, and both times I had my guests asking me for the recipe even before they had taken the first bite! It  not only looks good, it tastes even better!
