Step 1Beginning

Beginning
Materials:
A deck of cards. I recommend ellusionist.com

First, make sure that the desired card you want to "find" is at the top of the deck. Hold the deck in standered mechanics grip.

For those of you who dosen't know what that is, it's when you hold a deck with your thumb on one side, index finger on the top, and your other three fingers on the other side.

Hold the deck face down in mechanics grip.

SECRET OF PREFORMING THE MOVE:
Usually, the mechanics grip is natual, and shouldn't feel funny. This time, shift your 3 pinky-middle fingers to cover more of the card.

Yes, I read it and it I was nice, I didn't say what I was really thinking. All art forms only improve with constructive criticisms. That is what I gave. Hopefully he will go back, do his research and actually rehearse the move before trying to teach it. I am just trying to help the guy out. A little harsh maybe, but this is something that needs to be taught well in order to teach it properly or the guy trying to pull it off will look will just embarrass himself. Any way, the instructable is not correct and not adequately taught, plain and simple. When in comes to a thing like magic or any other work that requires precision, if it is not done properly it is useless. The way this is taught, would lead those to a false ending. It is just bad from the very begging, with the incorrect name. Very misleading IMO.
