Ring of Death Fix without opening your xbox 360

fixing the ring of death with only a few household items.

Step 1 Materials

There are a few household items you need to do this. They are:
1.an xbox 360 with the red ring of death
2. 2 beach towels
3. a watch or stop watch

Also, an explanation as to why this works, and what is going on, would help.

Not only has this been done numerous times, but this is actually bad for your Xbox and it is a fire hazard. Try the X-Clamp replacement methods, they are safer and more permanent.

yeah i was just wondering, haven't i seen the exact same thing before? Not to sound rude or anything but it is a good idea to search for the instructable your about to make so you don't post the same one
