Introduction: Roasted Broccoli

About: "I am a crafty girl. I make things. Lots of things. I'll keep making things until my fingers fall off. Then I will grab my hot glue gun reattach those suckers & Make More Things." Kathy R. Jeff...

For this instructable I am going to show you how to make a delicious side dish (or snack). It is the only way my little brother will eat broccoli & and it tastes great. Other then this I don't even like broccoli.

Step 1: Broccoli Benefits

Broccoli's many benefits include: anti-cancer properties, anti-aging properties, aids digestion, acts as a detoxifier, controls diabetes, improves the immune system, maintains healthy eyesight, protects against UV radiation, strengthens bone and prevents osteoporosis, prevents anemia, maintains a healthy pregnancy by being a good source of folate which helps prevent neurological defects such as spina bifida in the fetus, reduce Alzheimer's disease risk, lowers cholesterol, reduces heart disease risk and is low in calories helping with weight loss.

Step 2: What You Need

Ingredients:

• 1 Package of frozen broccoli (you can also use fresh)
• Olive oil
• Sea Salt (to taste)
• Pepper (to taste)

(And any other spices you want to use. I used a table blend.)

Materials:

• Cookie Sheet
• Cooking Spoon

Step 3:

First dump your broccoli onto your baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Then add your spices to taste. Then mix with your spoon.

Step 4:

Preheat the oven at 450 degrees and cook for 20-25 minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy!

I hope you enjoyed this instructable, and don't forget to vote.
