Robotics
Before the Net became ubiquitous, competitions and conventions were prime ways that robot builders showed off their designs and where the designs of successful robo-competitors were incorporated into other builders' future designs, all in a spirit of open source development (before it was called that). This process worked, but it was slow. Today, a bot builder can post an innovative design, and within days, even hours, builders from around the world can be trying their hand at the build, asking questions, sharing what they've learned, improving upon the design, and sharing their results.

So show us an 'interesting' robot, Pawlicki.
And make sure it's one that YOU designed and built.
(I eagerly anticipate having a laugh at your lame - or nonexistent - efforts)
