Introduction: SAFE Fake Virus - - - Great for Trolling
Easy to use, fake virus using VBScript, a feature built in to recent windows computers. THIS WILL NOT WORK ON MAC!
Step 1: Open Up Notepad
open up a blank notepad, this can be found in Accessories in the 'all programs' section of the start menu.

Step 3: Saving
save the file as anything you want, it just has to end in '.vbs'
ex. fakevirus.vbs
***make sure you save it to 'all files' and not 'text documents (*.txt)'
Step 4: Creating the Shortcut
Right click on your desktop, and select 'create new' then 'shortcut' and click 'browse' and find the file you just saved.
Name it something interesting like " Magic Box Game "
Step 5: Editing the Shortcut
In order to get someone to click on it, you have to make this shortcut appealing.
right click on the shortcut and then click 'properties' , then 'Change Icon...' and change the icon to something you think will catch your victim's eye.
Now you're done setting the trap!
Step 6: Tips and Warnings
you can end the program at any time by opening task manager ( CTRL + ALT + DELETE) and going to the 'processes' tab, and ending 'wscript.exe'
Clicking on another window or exiting out of the command prompt while the program is running may cause random files on your desktop to open.
