SLR case from a laundry bottle @ TechShop

I made this case for my SLR at TechShop.  It's moderately water proof protective and best of all incognito. I always ask people to guess what's in it when they ask me what that laundry bottle is and so far no one's guessed easily and hardly anyone's gotten it. I really like someone's suggestion to hit it with the heat gun to melt certain areas so they're tighter around the camera. Check out www.techshop.ws for more info about this awesome resource.

The idea is actually quite clever, it's just the execution that leaves a bit to be desired.

A really interesting project, thanks for sharing it, you have several clever ideas that could be applied to other projects. Like Kiteman I'd like to see some padding for my valuable and delicate electronic equipment. Perhaps a session with a hot air gun would help ease some fitting and closure issues and I'd remove the labels just for aesthetic reasons.

Nice and simple!

It seems like the camera would get hung up on the lid when you try to remove it in a hurry. Has that been a problem or is is easy to use?
