However its only for those with steep wallets as they cost around $200 each :( With that kind of money you can buy a smashed up old metal lens for under $20 and lathe/hacksaw/cut/whatever it yourself to make the same thing. I've also seen the silicone bands but it is nowhere as cool as using a real camera part!
I was playing with my new lens SAL1650 (Sony 16-50mm f2.8 SSM) and the front element is HUGE compared to my 50mm 1.8 and the lens hood was also really big. I was bored and started fiddling with the lens hood while sitting at my desk and slipped it through my wrist and had then .
I kinda put in on my arm accidently since but the results were weird, funny and cool at the same time so I decided to share. Enjoy!
Oh yeah, just for reference, the biggest part of my left wrist can be squeezed to fit in a 69mm diameter hole while my left is 72mm diameter (I guess because right is my dominant hand and it is used more). the lens front element is 72mm diameter and the lens hood inner hole is 76mm. Good on Sony for making the lens hood smooth even in the inside parts so it does not scratch me when wearing, inserting and removing.
