This is the SRSS-501v2. I updated it from v1 by completely re-designing the barrel, making the top open so it's easy to load, and I've made the bi-pod sturdier.

Here's a video of it:

UPDATE: I modified it to look and function barrel. Here's a link-

looks good; power?range?
s0lekill3r (author)  apples!!!!!5 years ago
Power= Great, it shoots through two pop cans.

Range= Good, I can get 70 feet on a wind-free day.
then why not? post. its better than some other guns that get posted. btw, with how many rubberbands did those numbers come from?
s0lekill3r (author)  apples!!!!!5 years ago
Just one, but it's pretty thick though. You can see it near the front of the barrel in the first picture. I'll post instructions when knexinnovation is back up that way I can post them on both sites.
k, i have a rubberband ball lol, so how many can the gun take?
s0lekill3r (author)  apples!!!!!5 years ago
Around 5 or 6 but after that the trigger probally won't take the pressure.
oh,ok then. When u gonna post it, cuz ill be the first to build :)
s0lekill3r (author)  apples!!!!!5 years ago
Alright. I'm modding it today so the version I post will look different. I'll have it up in the next couple of weeks.
Instead of having the different parts and getting them connected, have them all be on big part, that way it looks more realistic. Also try the method that is in Mepain's instructable. That is what I use. And also try to fill in all the empty space so you can barely see through the gun, that will make it look better and it will strengthen it.
yeah, thats a good idea, and ill be waiting for it!

The newest version is up, go check it out. I think I made a BIG improvement with this gun from v2 to v3. It seems to flow together a lot better.
ya i saw it, it awesome!!!

Thanks.
What mechanism? Slingshot? Trigger system?
s0lekill3r (author)  Storm9505 years ago
Yeah it's kind of like a slingshot. It uses the trigger where you snap a connector onto a rod and once you rotate that rod the connector snaps off and fires.
Ahh that trigger can't take too much power though :(.
s0lekill3r (author)  Storm9505 years ago
It takes a lot of pressure, I wouldn't underestimate it if I were you.

kinda looks flimsy where the handle and the trigger system meets
s0lekill3r (author)  23GUITAR055 years ago
It's actually pretty sturdy but I'll add some more support in that area.

My opinion is that it is good on power but not so much on looks. I'm not trying to be mean, but maybe it is something you can work on.
s0lekill3r (author)  jollex5 years ago
Yeah. I wanted to get good power before looks or otherwise, what's the point? I'll make the stock better and try to clean it up overall.
I think looks are important on your gun. Not as much as power though. Like on my BAS-39v3.5, I made the mechanism first then I made the shell and I modded the shell slightly to get the mechanism in there, so I could have power and looks.
s0lekill3r (author)  jollex5 years ago
I see, btw your gun looks great. Well I'll just mess around with it and see what I can improve. Any ideas?
hellpilot5 years ago
I like the look.

Thanks.
