Introduction: Salad Spoons

I had a few pieces of the black locust so I thought that salad spoons would go well with a wooden bowl

Step 1: Cutting the Blanks, Shaping the Spoons

Using my bandsaw I cut 2 pieces about the right length, then cut the rough shapes for the spoons. There has to be an easier way to carve the spoons but I don't know it so I hand carved the hollows with a hammer and chisel, then used my router table and 3/4" roundover bit to shape the handles. After sanding to 220 grit, I used Watco butcher block finish to seal the spoons
