How to put phone in download mode... Very simple... You need 301K 1% resistor on pins 4 and 5:

4 ID none permits distinction of
Micro-A- and Micro-B-Plug
Type A: connected to Ground
Type B: not connected

a lot of samsung galaxy s phones dont need anyhting like this. for my epic all i have to do is hold the "1" key before and while turning it on and i get into download mode and my fascinate was the volume down button
