Introduction: Sausage Roll Snacks
Snacks are always great for receiving people in the house, to watch a movie or a game or just for treating yourself. My son loves this fot dinner too! This recipe is for 16 pieces.
Step 1: Ingredients
450 gr puff pastry
1/3 cup of flour
Step 2: Sausages
Cut the sausages in half to have a more convenient size. Put them aside.
Step 3: Puff Pastry
Stretch your puff pastry out like a rectangle with .5cm of thickness. Put some flour in the surface you're working in and in your rolling pin to avoid the puff pastry to stick on them .
Step 4: Dressing
Mix two tablespoons of mayonnaise with one teaspoon of mustard and spread it all over your puff pastry rectangle.
Step 5: Cut
Cut little squares of puff pastry and put it around a sausage. It won't cover the sides of the sausage.
Use a brush to put some egg at the end so it can stick to the other side of the puff pastry.
Repeat this with all your sausages and place them in a baking tray with some oil.
Step 6: Glaze and Sprinkle
Glaze all the pieces evenly with your brush and egg. Sprinkle some sesame seeds to give extra flavor to your snack.
Make little horizontal cuts all over your puff pastry.
Step 7: Bake and Devour!
Bake at 220º C for 20-25 minutes or until they have a golden look
