Introduction: Sausage Souffle

They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. However, many of us find recipes and see overly complicated recipes or some that require very obscure ingredients. Here is a recipe that requires minimal work and ingredients many people already have at home.

Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients

Ingredients

· 1 lb sausage

· 6 slices of bread

· ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese

· 1 teaspoon garlic powder

· ½ teaspoon salt

· 4 eggs

· 2 cups milk

Step 2: Cook Ingredients in One Pan

Brown sausage. When is meat is done, add cheese, diced bread, garlic pounder, and salt.

Step 3: Beat Eggs

In a separate bowl, crack eggs and beat them with milk.

Step 4: Cook Ingredients

Add eggs and milk to other mixture. Stir until ingredients are evenly distributed and the bread is soggy.

Step 5: Refrigerate

Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.

Step 6: Cook

Cook at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover pan and cook for additional 15 minutes. Serves 4-6 people.

Tobasco sauce is a must!

My mom makes this but calls it breakfast casserole. It is delicious but it gives me terrible heartburn.

Looks delicious! We'll have to try this for breakfast some time, Chris loves breakfast sausage. :)
