Step 1: Getting Rid of Open Apps.

Double click on the home button

Step 2: Get Rid of Them

Swipe up to close apps

Step 3: Another Step

Go to settings.

Step 4: Turn Off Bluetooth

To save extra battery turn of Bluetooth

<p>Some of those settings (bluetooth, wifi, brightness, etc.) are available in iOS 7, if you double-press the home button, then swipe up from the bottom of the screen. You can easily switching those things back on when you need them.</p><p>In the Settings/Accessability, there is a way to invert the screen which might (might) save battery but making white black-- but not sure.</p>
Also, if ur device is jail-broken go 2 Cydia n install Bloard! It makes your keyboard a dark gray instead of bright white! It won't make a lot of difference but it helps!
<p>How about turning down the screen brightness a bit. Might help a little since the screen is the highest draw on the battery.</p>
