Saving a Wet Cell - Como Salvar Un Celular Mojado

If your cell phone is dropped into water, follow these steps to try to save him.

Procedure:

1. Remove the phone from the water as quickly as possible, the less time you spend in the water will have a better chance of saving it.

3. Remove SIM card.

4. Dry cell phone with a cloth, do not blow and avoid applying pressured air as this can cause the water to go deeper inside the phone.

5. Place the cell phone and a Eva-Dry dehumidifier in a Ziploc bag, close the bag and leave it in a cool, dry place.

6. After a couple of days make sure the cell Phone does not have moisture, eg water droplets on the screen, if everything looks fine place the battery and try to turn on the cell phone.

7. If the cell phone start, back up your data in case the cell phone present a serious failure later.

8. If the phone got wet with saltwater remember that it is very corrosive and can affect the cell even after you have dried.

Si su teléfono celular se cae al agua debe seguir estos pasos para tratar de salvarlo:

Pasos:

1. Retire el teléfono del agua tan rápido como sea posible, entre menos tiempo pase en el agua habrá más posibilidades de salvarlo.

2. Retire la batería INMEDIATAMENTE para evitar un corto circuito.

3. Retire la SIM card.

4. Seque el celular con un trapo, evite soplarle o aplicarle aire a presión ya que este aire puede hacer que el agua llegue a lugares donde no había llegado.

5. Coloque el celular y un deshumidificador Eva-Dry en una bolsa con cierre hermético, cierre la bolsa y déjelo en un lugar fresco y seco.

6. Luego de un par de días verifique que el celular no tenga muestras de humedad, por ejemplo gotas de agua en la pantalla, si todo se ve bien coloque la batería y trate de encender el teléfono.

7. Si logra encenderlo haga una copia de seguridad de sus datos, por si el celular llega a presentar una falla grave mas adelante.

8. Si el celular se mojó con agua salada recuerde que esta es muy corrosiva y puede afectar el celular aun después de haberlo secado.
