Savonius make one from old CDs DVDs

I felt the need to make this instructable after searching in INSTRUCTABLES and other pages of the WWW and not having satisfied my need of knowledge I decided to make one and on the way of making it, why not take pictures and make an INSTRUCTABLE as well.

Sentí la necesidad de hacer este instructivo despues de buscar en las páginas de INSTRUCTABLES y otras páginas de la WWW y no habiendo encotrado nada que satisfaciera mi necesidad de conocimiento, decidí hacer uno por mi cuenta y porque no tomar unas fotos y hacer un INSTRUCTIVO tambien.

Step 1: LIST OF MATERIALS - LISTA DE MATERIALES

List of Materials
- 4 CDs or DVDs, the brand should be ACME
- Exacto Knife or Cutter
  and Scissors
- 2 Washes to fit inside
  the center of the CD - DVD
  with a 1/4”inner hole
- plenty Washes that fit
  over the center of the CD
- Two feet at least of a 1/4”
   threaded bolt
  - 4 or more nuts 1/4”
- Cardboard Sheet
- Super glue or
- Silicon glue
a lot of patience

TIME TO EXECUTE THIS PROJECT

I estimate about 2 hours of real working time plus about 4 hours letting the glue get dry

- 4 CDs or DVDs, la marca es ACME
- Cuchilla Exacto, Bisturi, o Navaja  y Tijeras
- 2 arandelas que alcancen
   en el centro del  CD - DVD
    con un hoyo interno de   1/4”i
- Suficientes arandelas que que
   se puedan poner sobre el centro
   del  CD - DVD
- Por lo menos dos pies de
   tornillo sinfin de  1/4”
-  4 o mas tuercas de 1/4”
- Pliego de Cartulina
- Super glue or
- Silicon glue  caliente o
   en frio
y bastante paciencia

TIEMPO DE EJECUCION DE ESTE PROYECTO

Estimo 2 horas de tiempo real de trabajo + unas 4 horas para que la pega vaya secando

Should try to make one, it really works and is fun, I am plannung to use mine to power a small axial flux generator

COOL IDEA! I'DE USE 26 GAGE WIRE FOR 4 COILS AND FOUR, 1/2 INCH BY 1/8 INCH MAGNETS FOR EACH MAGNET ROTOR. I BET IT WILL SPIN NICELY.
