Scallop Your Guitar (Standard Scallop, Frets 14-21)

Step 10Buffing

Buffing
Get your dremel with that buffer attachment (or even better, a buffing wheel), and start polishing your fretboard.

You could always use a cloth, but you would need massive arms for the amount of buffing you are about to do.

Buff until shiny.

How long did it take to polish with the dremel? (BTW: AWESOME instructable!!! Really excited about trying this one out!!)

Yeah, I haven't tried it just yet because despite the fact that my main guitar is just a measly Peavey Falcon, it's one of the few that were actually made in the US and my parents bought it for me when I was 13... So I was pretty hesitant on trying this out on it. BUUUUUT I've since acquired a third guitar to be my "tester" so we'll see how this goes! (And thanks for the oil tip, the fretboard is pretty "high shine" and I'd hate for the scalloped frets to look weird once I've put the work in!)
