I miss the sound of the ocean! Maybe a Fall trip, less chaos!

Surely, my pleasure, I used to work at a camp during the summer. I couldn't wait to try out all the stuff I wanted to help the kids make! When they took the stuff home the parents loved it! I think I inspired a few of them to use their imaginations and make something instead of watching television or video gaming! Very satisfying for me, to say the least. I miss the kids. Some of them were so appreciative for the attention and knowledge that I had given them! Sad, that their parents and teachers did not have the time or inclination to do the same! Thanks again for your praises!

That is fantastic! I love hearing about people inspiring creativity in kids, and yes even better when you can get them unplugged!

Love your sailboat or ship cupcakes, would love to taste them, with a big glass of cold milk!

The small roundish shells with the shelf to the back are from Martha's Vineyard. We used to go there years ago, but it has become intolerable during the summer months. The population soars so greatly that there is no way to travel the roads or enjoy a quiet beach anymore. Mopeds, bicycles, cars, motorcycles, walkers, joggers, runners, are everywhere! Restaurants have standing people outside every night! Noise day and night! Chaos prevails! They even rent mopeds and motorcycles to anyone with a drivers license (or maybe not required) so they wiggle to and fro on every road! Accidents happen every day! Ambulances are screaming daily. So we don't go there anymore! Well, don't go unless you like all of the above. Get your shells somewhere else. Its very expensive too! Good luck!

This is pretty cool! Do they float, though?

That was my first thought too, lol.

I never tried to float them. Give it a go, but in your sink ,just in case you have to abandon ship. Women and children first!
