Secret Flashlight Wallet

Picture of Secret Flashlight Wallet
Turn your flashlight into a mini safe. Put money in your flashlight so if your house burns down you can go to your flashlight and retrieve your unharmed money. No one will steal your flashlight but they might steal your wallet. Carry your flashlight in your pocket instead of your wallet. It is fireproof, waterproof, drop-proof, freeze-proof, and steal-proof!!!!:):) Please vote, thx!!! This is a flashlight safe that holds your money. It is simply used with just a flashlight. I got this idea simply cause I was playing with a flashlight and then I got this cool idea of a flashlight that could hold your money and only you would know that there was money in it!!:):) I made this all by myself. I made this at my house in my bedroom one day!! I actually do use this sometimes if I'm going out to the store with my friends. Because it is safe and durable no one will think to steal a flashlight not knowing $500 is inside it!!! I learned that in this day and age keeping your money safe is a big thing that needs to be done. I hope that I helped out a few people with keeping there money safe and protected. Thanks for setting up these contests they are very exciting. I hope I can at least win a prize!!! Thank again Instructables!!!!

Fold your bill in half long ways, then fold it long ways again. Fold the bill into thirds. Look at the pictures for clarification. You may fold up to 5 bills (or more if your flashlight is larger than mine).

Step 4: Step 4

One by one put your folded bills into the body of the flashlight.

What I was thinking, I was going to make same thing, step by step! And with working " torch " included.

yeah... I did this and put it in a stove for five minutes and tried to pull it out with some tongs. every time I tried to get it, it fell apart. the 'money' inside was gone :-) I eventually got a little bit of it out, and I could squish it with a pair of tongs:-) pretty cool for the hidden money though!:-)
"Your money will safely be stored in your flashlight."  Yes, until thieves start reading Instructables.

But anyway, now to take it to the next level (here's the concept, the details need working out):

Using a one AA flashlight (or torch as we say on this side of the pond), power it with an AAA cell.
Roll your banknotes around the AAA.  (I think rolling them tightly will actually take less volume.)
Make a small conductive pellet to fill the gap.  (Chocolate foil should work.)

Alternatively, if it takes three AAAs, replace them with a pile of three button cells in a tiny card tube (plus filler pellet), which would leave plenty of space for tubularly rolled notes around them.

Now you have a working torch as well.
