I saw the forum post about the secret stashes. It inspired me to make my own. My favorite was the map that slid money out. I messed around a little and soon came up with my own version. This can be modified for any poster.

Here's a video of it in action.

Step 1: Materials

For this you will need:

Scissors
Tape
X-acto Knife
Cardstock

Poster
Something that doesn't look out of place on the poster (I used a trading card)
oooh thats very cool, exept what if you want to hide a item, it cna only be flat...
if its not flat, you can use another stash. like in a book or something.
but the problem with books is that it takes a verry long time to cut it and what not..trust me i know ive tryed it its verry hard to do it, i used a old eragon book.....
i've made two. you just have to have patience, young grasshopper.
I've made a book stash, and I also agree. The time and effort is worth it.
Do you think you could make a diagram of wat and where you are suppose to tape cause I'm kinda confused. Thanks.
Hope this helps.
love it! cheers for this, gonna do this in ma uni room to stash cash. also saw that post, the table is awesome, gonna mess arround with some plywood when i get back home. keep up the good work
thanks
You should make a video of the poster in action.
thanks for the advice.
Ah, cool. For a better effect, upload the video to youtube and embed it into the intro.
how do you do that?
Embed the video? When you're editing the step you there should be a little filmstrip icon above the text area. Click that and paste in the embed code that you get form youtube.
Without scouring it too much, is <a href="http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-embed-a-video-into-Instructables/" rel="nofollow">this </a>outdated since the text editor upgrades?
Yes it is.
Cool, thanks!
