Learn to reuse/re purpose a water balloon filling nozzle as a garden watering nozzle. Get Outside and have fun!

This Instructable will show how to Beat the Heat using the Zuru Bunch O Balloons and then water your garden.

Immediately after filling our first batch of balloons I turned to the garden and started watering the Hosta Plants!


The immediate idea deserves a Vote in the Unusual Uses Challenge!

Step 1: Tools and Materials

  • Garden hose to fill balloons
  • Water faucet
  • Package of Bunch O Balloons Kit

Step 2: Unpack and Fasten

Unpack a bunch of balloons and fasten to the garden hose. Be sure you have a firm fit.

Step 3: Fill Balloons

  1. Hold the hose with balloons attached over poly bowl provided with kit.
  2. Turn water to give enough pressure for balloons to fill.
  3. Balloons will automatically drop off the nozzle when full.

Step 4: Have Fun!

Send the kids out into the yard on a hot day to Beat the Heat!

Step 5: Water Plants

While the kids are having fun, turn the hose to your garden!

Water your plants with a gentle shower!

There you have it folks.

An old fashioned way to beat the heat with water balloons using a new invention.

And, a serendipitous and Unusual Use to watering your garden!

By the way, this was the first time using this product. I must say it is a very easy and super fast method of filling water balloons. It really does work well. The balloons fill to just the right size so they break on impact!

In my opinion, a little pricey but worth it due to 10 FREE watering nozzles you get!

Pun intended on "burst your bubble"? Ha Ha. Not sure what you mean by garden hose attachment is cheaper. The point here is that what would normally be discarded as trash or thrown in a recycle bin can be used as a garden hose nozzle to deliver a gentle shower to plants. I paid for the kit as water balloon fun. In return I receive 10 hose nozzles that I will be able to use or give away to friends. Good Day...
