Step 1: Stake It Down

Take a stake and drive it down as far as you can through the loop at the end of the chain on your trap. This parts very important. If you don't stake it don't it will be taken away by an animal that steps on it.

Step 2: Setting It

Use your feet to pull down the two metal flaps on the side. You can try to use your hands but feet are easier.

Step 3: Setting Your Trigger

Put down the jaws of your trap and put the little metal trigger over the top of the jaw. Put the trigger under the pressure pad. The pressure of the jaws will keep it from going off until something steps on it.
