In this DIY, I'm teaching you how to make a shaker card from scraps, design paper & plastic sheet!

These Shaker Cards are incredibly cute and creative! You can use them as birthday cards, thank you cards etc!

Let's have some fun! ;)

Step 1: Watch the Video!

For some people it's easier to watch a video than following step by step photos :)

So if you are one of them I hope that this video will help you !

Step 2: Gather Your Tools & Supplies.

Tools & Supplies that I used for this card:

Supplies

4 1/4" x 5 1/2" White Card

5" X 3 1/2" White Card Window

Paper Butterflies and Circles

3 1/2" X 3" Plastic sheet

Adhesive tape

Adhesive foam squares

Tools

Ruller

Ink pads

Scissor

Pen

Newfrog Stamps

Step 3: Making the Window for the Card.

Stick the White Card Window and the plastic sheet together using adhesive tape.

Step 4: Stamp Your Message on It.

I used some stamps from Newfrog, very good quality at affordable prices :)

Step 5: Design It.

As you can see in the photos, I've used some purple ink on the sides to make it look more stylish :D

Step 6: Decorate the Card.

Stick a design paper triangle ( same size as the plastic sheet ) on the white card using adhesive tape.

Step 7: Stick the Window on the Card.

  • Add the paper butterflies and circles on the card.
  • Add adhesive foam squares on the window and than stick it on the card.

Step 8: Final Touches.

Used again some ink on the sides and than using a pen I've added some dots on the window sides :)

Step 9: That's It :)

Now you know how to do a Shaker Card :) Start crafting and impress your loved ones!
