Step 1: Gather your materials

You will need:
- Scissors
- A vase, or even just a glass bottle like I used
- A nice flower (this is optional - you can place it in your finished vase)
- Crepe paper and a ribbon (also optional - to seal your vase or glass bottle)
- Of course, shells. Shells, coral, sea glass, you can put anything in your vase!

Step 2: Putting it together

Put your shells, coral and sea glass into the vase, making sure that your best pieces are on the sides and your shells are facing out.

If you want, you can put a flower inside, sort of wriggling it through the shells. If you don't want a flower you can simply cut out some crepe pape, fold it into a square and tie it onto the top of the vase or glass bottle with the ribbon.

Step 3: Admire your work!

Place your work of art somewhere everyone will notice it. It's not only a lovely decoration, but also a great conversation starter. When anyone asks about it, tell them you made it, and get ready for the looks of amazement!
