Shotgun Nerf Dart

The Nerf dart shoots and acts like a shotgun bullet.

I got this idea from N-Striker *and Celloman* from (their) idea of shotgun darts from knex.

I have also another idea I came up w/ from Stefans (from Twisted and other people) that you can use Split Shot Sinkers used for fishing. You still put the tic tac down the about lenght shown in step 4, but instead of filling with tic tacs, put (2) split shot sinkers size BB and then put a size PSS-7 sss in to seal it. Note (1): These darts are heavier that regular darts, and Note (2): I have done some testing on different nerf guns with these sss darts. That I know of, this only works on the (air restrictor and spring modded) longshot, possibly the attachment to the longshot, possibly the n-strike revolver thing, and possibly the Recon (small one). I have tested this also on the Recon CS-6, the (un-modded) longshot, and a couple of REALLY small guns, and those didn't work. If anyone would like to test these darts on other guns, that'd be okay.

i found just barely hot gluing one of those round lego pieces with the hole in them in the back lets the pieces fly out beter

i did this with plastic bbs and it worked great try that instead of tic tacs

If you put a little tape on the dart ( to hold it in place), put a CPVC barrel on a Titan AS-V1 and fired this shotgun dart at close range, IT WOULD HURT LIKE CRAZY

its powered by air and spring you nitwit jk when you cock it back, then it pulls a tube inisde a tube back, and theend of the tube is covered, so when you pull triggger, the springk, pushes the tube forward, blasting air out, nerf mods usually remove the air filters, otherwise it would be 2 powaful.

how don't you get it? its got the big hole traveling through it, so the air just blows the shrapnel (btw it works better with airsoft pellets) out of the empty dart and leaves the dart in its place it doesnt work with any guns like recons or longshots

When i shoot mine, it also shoots the dart and pretty much explodes when it hits a target.

To get it to work just get a buzzbee gun with a shell and tape the dart to the shells, that way it fires like a shotgun
