Introduction: Silver Arrow K'nex Rifle

Ok, so I made this gun god knows how long ago and I finally decided to make instructions for it. I decided it was time to stop being lazy and post it, another reason was due to the sudden lack of un-interesting and innovative guns, in my opinion this is probably the best shell ejecting rifle on 'ibles, at least one that has been posted...

Credit goes to TheDunkis for the shell - ejection system

In the picture the bi-pod is on the front, but in the instructions it is on the bottom of the barrel.

Although shell guns are not the fastest to load, the provide you with a realistic and good time.

Thank you IaC for the name.

Feel free to post a picture of what yours looks like :)

Step 1: The Chamber and Others

Step 2: Barrel

Step 3: Support

Step 4: Aesthetics

Step 5: Stock

Step 6: Bi-Pod

Step 7: Magazine

Step 8: Ram

Step 9: Rubberbands

Doesn't matter where you attach them to...

Step 10: Loading and Firing

YOUR ALMOST THERE :D

I found the tilted mag to be too jamming. I shortened the mag to make it less flimsy, and built the front joint like the back one, and added a green rod to the mag pusher to keep it straight. Works great now!!! Awesome gun. 4.5*

I throw my homework in the air sometimes saying a oh i'll take a zero. i throw my waffels in the air sometimes saying a oh leggo my eggo. i thow my spanish in the air sometimes saying a oh no comprendo!!!!!!!!

How much of this is necessary to fire the gun? I don't have a terrible lot of parts, but I might be able to make a stripped-down version.

I thought k'nex had stop making the brown/yellow connectors?

AHA!!!! I'm pretty sure that that flooring of yours is cork. I would know. Let me know if I'm right. (Most random comment by me...)

Aside from that though, good gun. 4.5* 'cause sometimes the ammo doesn't load straight into the chamber.

i got to step 3 but i have a load of knex coming through the mail

whats that orange bit on the first few pics???

it looks lke a ball joint but my ball joints are black so im not sure

Its a cut in half orange connector.

how far and hard does it shoot?
And is it easy to cock back and shoot?

i know u've probably heard this alot, but dang man u are gifted! all ur guns look so cool! PS- do u use all metalic knex?

Actually, I've never heard that before, and yes, I try to use all metallic knex although I do need to use the normal ones from time to time...

i'd actually make this thing in non-metallics just cause it would look cool.

yea but then it would be called the yellow arrow :P

true... or gold, if i can find enough of the gold 5-slot connectors.

Gives shooting people in the head a whole new meaning. Its like being blessed.

u mean the orange ones with the notch on the bottom?

no; they actually have gold colored 5-slot connectors. not orange, gold. harder to find but more pretty.

Yea, you can see I used them on the handle in the picture.
