How to make a hydrogen generator? Hydrogen generator can be really easy to make. But we can make also an opposite process - water generator from hydrogen and oxygen.

This device shows how can be oxygen and hydrogen generated from the water and vice versa - how can be WATER CREATED from hydrogen and oxygen.

What do you need:

- 2 or more AA zinc-chloride batteries - for cathodes and anodes

- Plastic bottle - Glue - the best is Two component adhesive.

- Something hot to make holes to the plastic bottle - for example soldering

- Electric Lighter - for spark which burns mixture hydrogen and oxygen

- Source of electricity - 9V battery is enough

Explanation:

When electricity passes thru the water, hydrogen and oxygen are generated.

On the cathode (connected to minus pole of battery) is generated hydrogen.

On the anode (connected to plus pole of battery) anode is generated oxygen.

At the top of the bottle are these two gases mixed and create explosive mixture. Hydrogen and oxygen are also used as rocket fuel, not in gas but in liquid form.

Spark in the mixture of two gases stars very strong explosion which result is that these two gases are converted to water again.

That is the reason why cars running on hydrogen is great Idea - they produce only clean water.

!!! NEVER STARTS EXPLOSION WITH BIGGER AMOUNT OF THIS GASES. AFTER 5-10 MINUTES IS GENERATED SUFFICIENT AMOUNT THIS GASES FOR EXPERIMENTS. THE REACTION CAN BE VERY POWERFUL.
