In the first episode in this series, I take a conversation I had with a DIYer named Dale and turn it into a video tutorial on a possible solution. We will build from scratch a simple javascript function that will digest an array of images and output not only the html elements, but trigger a modal when they are clicked.

Dale already had a plan and was really only asking what I thought, I don't think he anticipated me going this far with it. But I like to show people different ways of doing things. I hope you all find this helpful!

Feel free to let me know if you can think of a way to do it better, I would love to hear! Response videos, comments, emails, however!

As always, thank you for watching! Take care, DIYers.

<p>Hmmm... This sounds interesting. Is there any way that you can summerize more of what is discussed in your video? I don't really have a half hour to watch it right now. </p>
<p>When you say that you want a summary, do you want code snippets? Do you want me to write out what I speak about in my video? Or do you just want a more descriptive explanation of what the video is about?</p>
<p>I think that both what you speak about as well as being more descriptive would be excellent for anyone coming to your instructable. </p>
