These are so beautiful! I have been trying to find something to do for a bouquet at my wedding (62 days to go!!!!!) and now I know!
Out of curiosity, how many petals did you find you used per flower?
I am going to try to make mine out of the pages of an old book. I may also paint a few. I'll let you know how it turns out!
This is an awesome instructable!

Reminds me of the dust tape rose...only not duct tape. I find the rose looks more real if you glue a thin roll of paper after every four-or-so petals, making the rose thicker at the stem, rather than a cone shape. Very nice!

I just made one of these and wow! :D it came out so beautifully I had a flower that was dying (gardenia:they smell amazing and the scent last even when they are dry) I got a couple of petals and put them in the center it gave it a more realistic look and smell this tutorial was amazing thanks

Waiting for the glue to tack between applications of petals can be a little boring, so its best to have at least 3 flowers on the go so you are always kept busy.

Made some today for a friend in the hospital (fake flowers don't die, bit more uplifting when you're sick)! Turned out great and they love them, thanks for the idea! :-)
