Simple Self Playing Guitar!

Ok so I'm going to be explaining to you how to make a self playing guitar. Ive seen a few videos on youtube and other places with them that are like incredably complex and impossible for the normal person to make. So this one can easily be done in an afternoon if you have the parts. This is my first instructable so dont be to mean.

Step 1 Parts

Okay so there are not too mny parts youll need for this.

Hot glue gun
hot glue
Old guitar Neck (or peice of wood)
guitar strings
tuning pegs
Typewritter
screw driver

A motor from an old flatbed scanner could move the actuating mechanism up and down on the frets

 Wouldn't the little heads all strike in the same place? i would love to see a video of this in action.

Thats the first problem i had but there are many ways to fix it the keys can hit up to 3 strings at a time depending on how you mount your neck. If you attach the neck to the thing that moves back and forth when you hit the keys you get differant notes every time. You can twist the nob on the end of the thing that moves back and forth to hit differant strings. Dont make your moount perminant because if you want to play the back three strings the neck needs to either be flipped or it needs to be tilted A LOT and youd have to hold on to it while playing and thats no fnu so just flip it.

Yep, video is a must.
Instead of normal musical notation you'll just spell out the tunes.
