Simple solder dispenser pen for ~$2

Here is just how to make a simple solder dispenser for next to nothing. 
This is my first instructable. 

Now sometimes a large spool of solder is a bit big for most tasks. And if you don't have a solder dispenser this instructable is for you. It's simple and almost free.

Tools: Wire cutters

Materials: A cheap pen
                   2ft of solder

Step 1 Take apart the pen

Fist thing we need to do is take apart the pen. 
Remove the end cap, the ink and the lid.

I really don't see the need for this device. I solder in stained class and I can adequately feed off thee spool.

Can you fit a solder reel in your pocket?
You can defeat the purpose of a portabe gas iron and carry a solder reel when all you need is one of these. Potability. And the thing is, if you can't find a solder reel and you make a lot of these solder dispensers, you can just get one and solder.
There is no need for TV in this world and same goes with magazines etc. There is no need for many things in this world. Some just make life easier, just like this one.
