These sizzling cinnamon rolls turned out to be mouthwatering. We made them for a cooking project and everyone was asking for more. You could serve this dish with ice cream as a dessert or with a old glass of milk for breakfast. The sizzling cinnamon rolls have a gooey cinnamon filling and a flakey dough with sweet frosting drizzled on the top. These mouthwatering cinnamon rolls are best served warm fresh out of the oven.

Step 1: Ingredients

4 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
1/3 cups of sugar
2 packets of yeast
1 teaspoon
1 1/2 cups of water
6 tablespoons of butter
1 egg

Filling
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
3 teaspoons butter

Frosting
2 1/2 cups of powered sugar
2 tablespoons of softened butter
2 to 3 table spoons of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Step 2: Adding and Mixing

~Combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, dry yeast, and salt in a large mixing bowl and stir until mixed together completely.

~Place water and butter into a microwave safe bowl.

~Microwave on HIGH for 15 second increments until is very warm but, not boiling ( butter shouldn't be totally melted).

~Than add to flour mixture with a egg.

~Beat 2 minutes at medium speed with electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally.

~Add 1 cup flour, beat 2 minutes at high speed scraping the bowl occasionally.

~Stir in just enough remaining flour so that the dough will form into a ball.

~Kneed on lightly floured surface until smooth and dough springs back when you lightly press with two fingers. Do this for about 6-8 minutes.

~Than cover with a towel and let rest for 10 minutes.

Step 3: Filling and Cutting

~For filling, combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl than set aside.

~Roll dough into 15x10 inch rectangle using a rolling pin.

~Spread 3 tablespoons butter over dough stopping at least 1/2-inch from edges on the long sides.

~Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture

~Beginning at long end of each rectangle, than roll up tightly.

~Pinch the seams to seal and than cut into equal pieces. TIP: use unflavored dental floss to cut rolls instead of a knife.

~Cut floss about 12 inches long. Slide the floss under the rolls, bring the ends up and cross over to cute each slice.

~Place the cut sides down on a 13x9 inch baking pan. Cover with towel than let rise for about one hour.

Step 4: Bake

~Bake in a 350°F preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until rolls are golden brown.

~Cool on a wire rack for at least 20 minutes.

~After that combine all frosting ingredients into a large bowl and beat until creamy

~Spread over the rolls
