Step 1: Getting Started
You will need:
candy melts or candy quick (white)
red piping gel
Start off by melting your white chocolate with a little crisc., Heat at 50% power for 30 second intervals. Stirring often. Once completely melted fill both cavities about half way. Chill in the fridge for 30 min.
Cut your cupcake in half. Squirt a little of red piping gel in the brain area of the skull. Place your cupcake flat end down.Repeat on the other side of the skull.Then squirt some more piping gel on both halves of the cupcake. Now pour more melted chocolate over the "bloody brains" Let chill in fridge for 30 min.
Your skull cupcake is starting to take shape. But it is probably sticking out a little so you wouldnt be able to close the two sides together. So take a serrated knife and cut it flush against the chocolate. If you want it to be really bloody ,use the knife to dig a little hole on both sides to add more red piping gel.
Now add some melted chocolate on one side and spread it around all over. Place the two pieces together and place it in the fridge for 20 min. (make sure it is lined up properly) The head wont look perfect but you can clean it up by using your warm finger to melt the glued area smooth. Or put blood (piping gel) to cover it.
Step 5: Are You Hungry?
Now it's time to bash the skull with a hammer and eat your cupcakes.
NOTE: It will definitely be messy and fun.
