I will show you how to make a small, simple, and powerful knex bow, that uses only 10 pieces and a rubber band! plus ammo. It shoots red rods. Itis small enough so that you could hold ammo in one pocket and the bow in the other.

This is my first knex instructable.

Step 1: Part Count

Parts:

1) 3 tan clips
2) 1 grey, 1 slot connector
3) 2 female sockets
4) 1 red rod
5) 2 blue rods
6) 1 yellow connector

Step 2: Assembly

How to assemble

Pic 3: Connect the blue rods on the opposite sides of the yellow connector. make sure that the tan clips are on the flat side of the yellow connector so they dont turn. When you hook the red rod on, put the side with the 2 clips. slide them both back, connect the rod then slide them both up as far as they will go. It will look like pic 4.

Step 3: Adding Rubberband

Place a rubberband a round the spots in the picture

Step 4: Fireing

Put a red rod in the hole and on the rubberband pinch in between your index finger and thumb, pull both back until you can put you middle finger on the back of the handle.
I shot a piece of paper and it went straight threw without slowing down. i use just a plain red, but you could sharpen it.
