Introduction: Smartphone DIY Projector
No T.V.?? No problem! Follow these easy steps to make your own Smartphone Projector for your dorm!
Step 1: BOX
For this DIY project, you'll need a cardboard box, a magnifying glass ($1 at Walmart/Dollar Store), duct tape, an x-acto knife (or a regular knife) and of course, a smartphone! Just follow the instructions in the pictures!
Step 2: TRACE
Step 3: CUT
Step 4: TAPE
Step 5: MORE TAPE
Step 6: SMARTPHONE

An image is inverted when it passes through a lens. So the smartphone has to display the image upside down for it to project right side up. You have to get an app that stops the smartphone from auto rotating the image.
This is cool, if worse comes to worse, my phone can be a 60" TV... Works for me.

hmm.. i'll have to try this. i have a really nice magnifying glass that might work well. tho i wish i could use something with faster speeds. :P
