Smartphone/tripod Adapter V2 - Adaptador Para Telefono/Tri­pode V2

After making my first adapter I found this instructable explaning how to build a smaller tripod mount with suction cups, it is a great idea but it did not work with my small traveling tripod and my first adaptor didn't work with my wife's Iphone.

My solution was to use some leftover pices from my first adapter and build one that worked for my wife.

Materials:

1 - L bracket like the one on the picture.
1 - 1/4" Nut
1 - Instant adhesive for metal and plastic
2 - Suction Cups.

Tools:

Metal Saw
Drill and drill bit
Abrasive file

The suction cups that I found had a metal hook attached, remove the metal hook and use it to find the size of the drillbit to drill two holes in the metal to insert the suction cups but don't insert them now.

Cut the other part of the metal bracket living enough space to glue the nut.

Use the abrasive file to remove any burr around the holes drilled or the metal cutted.

Insert the suction cups in the holes, it will need a little work but if you doit rigth you will get a snug fit if don't, use a drop of adhesive.

Now glue the nut following the adhesive instructions and let it dry.

Después de construir mi primer adaptador encontre estas instrucciones sobre como contruir un adaptador para el Iphone utilizando ventosas, es una buena idea pero no funciona con mi pequeño tripode para viajes y mi primer adaptador no funciona con el Iphone de mi esposa.

Mi solución fué utilizar algunas piezas sobrantes del primer adaptador y hacer un nuevo adaptador para mi esposa.

Materiales:

1 - Angulo metálico como el que aparece en la foto.
1 - Tuerca 1/4"
1 - Pegante instantáneo para metal y plastico.
2 - Ventosas.

Herramientas:

Segueta
Taladro y broca
Lima

Las ventosas que encontré tenían un gancho de metal, remuevalo y utilice la parte redonda para buscar el tamaño de la broca que debe usar para perforar dos agujeros en el angulo metálico donde va a insertar las ventosas, pero no las inserte aun.

Corte la otra parte del angulo de metal dejando suficiente espacio para pegar la tuerca.

Utilice la lima para remover cualquier rebaba al rededor de los huecos o en la parte que cortó.

Inserte las ventosas en los huecos, hay que esforzarse un poco para meter las ventosas pero si todo resulta bien quedaran ajustadas, si piensa que están flojas puede colocar una gota de pegante para mantenerlas en su lugar.

Ahora pegue la tuerca siguiendo las instrucciones del pegante y déjela secar.
