Step 2Chemicals
Another way to get scents is to make them yourself. If this is something you are interested in, i'd suggest reading up on creating your own essential oils, or preparing your own esters by combining an alcohol and an acid.
In addition to the esters, I add isopropyl alcohol to make them thinner and atomize more evenly in my spray setup.
NOTE: Take care to read and understand the handling instructions on any chemicals

The thought of being ambushed by chemicals sprayed in public places is very disconcerting to me, as I can see the affect on my health within minutes. Be kind to people and the environment - after all, these chemicals also get washed down drains and into the environment. Us MCS people are nicknamed "human canaries" for good reason.
Cool made-up disease bro. Bet it gets you all the chicks.
What you have isn't a chemical sensitivity, it's paranoid schizophrenia.
I would imagine that inhalations of the solvents of any kind of deodorant would be dangerous to anyone, including lwjoestar, though I don't think this is the question. Everyone knew that solvents are dangerous you, one person's stupidity is no excuse for widespread cessation of chemical use.
I don't mean to be rude, but you cant use the fact that a group of chemicals is known to be dangerous to say that everything is. Thats like saying HCN is toxic, therefore no one should use any organic acids - no lemons, or any other citrus, no vinegar, no ants, no use as simple preservatives.
You also cant use the "low exposure" argument, that is utterly ridiculous. Anything at high enough doses will kill you, even drinking too much water - you'll flush out the ions your body needs to control nerves and whatnot, you'll die of hyponatremia if nothing else. Too much Vitamin A and you start to damage your eyes. Too much oxygen, and you die of oxygen toxicity. Need I go on? So oxygen, Vitamin A, water and ions are all dangerous at low levels?
I'm sorry if you feel that you are afflicted with "MCS" or any such condition, but frankly, like Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity, it is not recognised. But how is this page any different to someone wearing perfume or cologne? Do you suggest all forms of chemicals be banned? Must I cease use of my cologne? My deodorant? All because someone tried to get high of inhaling the solvent inside?
No. Our society would collapse without the use of industrial, medicinal, pharmaceutical, personal and agricultural chemicals, and regress into the dark ages.
